How Does the iotty Smart Switch Proximity Feature Work?Updated a year ago

The proximity feature is designed for when you enter / exit your home. There is not a motion sensor within the switch; rather it uses GPS from your mobile phone to detect your location which is not precise enough to detect moves between rooms. You can trigger an action (turn on/off light) based on when you enter or leave a circle around your home and the distance can be customized from within the app. In addition to the location based triggers, you can also have triggers occur based around sunrise / sunset, what other iotty devices are doing in the home, and time of day. With each of these triggers you can set a command to occur.
