How to set up Energy Consumption (kWh) monitoring:

In the iotty app you can view Energy Consumption (kWh) of your iotty devices per plate (Controller). Follow these steps to set up Energy Consumption monitoring of your iotty devices

1) In the iotty app Devices page select the ' v ' icon next to your Home (name) at the top of the screen and then select the edit button (pencil)

2) This brings you to the Edit home (name) screen, under "Energy Cost Per Kw" enter your energy cost per Kw. Select 'i' for instruction on how to find and calculate your energy cost

You will need to know your energy cost with Energy service provider (this can be found on your energy bill). Simply divide the total cost by the kWh usage of your home

3) Next step will be entering the load, 'W' (Watts) usage per Switch gang. For example, if you have 4 recessed lightbulbs controlled by one gang of your Smart Switch you would enter the total 'W' of all 4 lights. This information is required to track energy consumption of your Switches in your home

4) Once Steps 2 and 3 are completed you can now view your energy cost for all of your iotty devices or per device (for devices which the load power has been specified). To view your energy usage statistics, select Statistics on the home screen of your iotty app account
