How to Physically Reset your iotty Smart Switch (Rebroadcast the iotty Switches Wi-Fi network to Register)Updated a year ago

Physically reset your device (this will make it rebroadcast the devices Wi-Fi)

This will enable you to register your device after it has been removed from your iotty app.

 

Please view our How to Physically Reset your iotty Smart Switch Tutorial:

 

1) Remove the glass Faceplate, Following the Steps of our Faceplate Installation Guide and Tutorial video as shown here.

        a) To remove, pull away at the bottom of the device until you hear a click then lift off. Do not pull the Faceplate when removing, lift only


2) Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds on the Backplate (you may need a paperclip or similar to press the button)

3) Then press the AP button for 5 seconds on the plastic Backplate (you may need a paperclip or similar to press the button)

4) Register your device (ensuring Bluetooth mode is Enabled on your smartphone), proceed to Registering your iotty Smart Switch here to finish registration
